Has anyone ever seen one of these before? I did not know such a thing existed and was surprised to find this.

I would take a guess that as long as it fits it would work in any crockpot. It would make it a lot easier to get a cake out of a crockpot.
 
Wow, I have never seen that before. Is it still available or is there a more updated version?

I looked for it and have not seen it as a new product only as a used one. I wish I could find one of these that is new somewhere. Watch Ebay is my best guess to find something like this.
