In 2014 Tony Glover from England, has smashed the existing record for his whopping vegetable, which weighs an eye-watering 18lbs and 11oz and measures 32 inches around its widest part.

I was thinking that this onion would make for some extra extra large onion rings. :D I also wonder about the quality of these large vegetables. Perhaps this onion might be very hot or tough or have some kind of other quality we wouldn't like because of its large size.
