Hello everyone, my name is Geri and I have been a big fan of crock pots ever since they came out way back when in the 70's. I like to use a crock pot not only for the convenience that it brings to a cook but also because I find that they make meat a lot more tender than the conventional oven does. I especially like to use the slow cooker for wild game that usually needs a long slow cooking period to bring it to perfection.
