Crockpot Root Beer Honey BBQ Wings (Three Ingredients Recipe)

12 -14 Chicken Wings, thawed
1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey Barbecue Sauce {18 oz.}
1/2 can A&W Root Beer

Place Chicken Wings in Crockpot.

Cover with lid and cook on High for 2.5 hours.

After 2.5 hours, remove juices from crockpot.

In small mixing bowl, combine Root Beer and BBQ Sauce and stir well.

Pour mixture over chicken.

Cover, and cook for 30 minutes more, or until done.

I loved your cola and ribs recipe. I am not crazy about root beer soda though. do you still taste the root beer once its cooked. Could it substitute root beer for ginger ale?
 
The root beer probably gives it some of the sweet flavor. You could try grape soda, or maybe even use ginger ale. I am sure with the ale, the flavor will change some. You could also use the cola, or Dr. Pepper with the recipe as well.
