4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced

Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.

Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

You could even use leftover turkey from Thanksgiving time for this recipe! Thank you!

Did you mean canned biscuit dough? I don't see it in the ingredients. What can I use instead of onions? Celery maybe?

Great question - I did not realize it was not listed in the ingredients. You can use any type of dough - canned biscuits, pie dough, ect.

You can eliminate the onions and use celery, or some creamed corn would work in this recipe as well.
