caribbean sweet potato and bean stew

2 sweet potatoes (about 1 pd)-peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
2 cups frozen cut green beans
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained (about 15 oz)
1 can vegetable broth (about 14 oz)
1 onion sliced
2 tsp caribbean jerk seasoning
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp sale
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted

combined all ingredients except almonds in crock-pot cover; cook on low 5-6 hours or until veggies are tender. sprinkle with almonds. makes 4 servings.
