Whole Foods Crockpot Recipes: Texas Calico Chili

    1 ½ pounds stew beef
    ½ cup onion, chopped
    2 cans (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes
    6 ounce can tomato paste mixed with water to make 1 cup
    1 can (4.5 ounce) chopped green chilies
    1 ½ cups cooked black beans
    1 ½ cups cooked white beans (navy or great northern)
    ½ teaspoon onion powder
    ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    2 teaspoons cumin

    Combine all ingredients in 4-5 quart crock pot. Stir well.

    Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
