I drink a lot of coffee. Today I found this i nfographic, illustrating the best times to drink coffee and explaining why.
I found it really accurate, at least for me, as someone who wakes up really early and works an 8-5 job Monday-Friday. The writer/illustrator explains when your body is naturally producing cortisol to keep you awake/alert and when that cortisol slumps and you need to create the awake/alert feeling by caffeinating with coffee. Definitely made me rethink starting the coffee pot right away in the mornings, and waiting until I get to work and start feeling that morning slump about 10 a.m. A good way to drink less coffee but still get the great effects!!
